Tipperary County Council Road-Safety Context: The Separate July 2024 Snapshot

A second RSA snapshot belongs in the record alongside the 2023 figure. The provisional review covering 1 January to 28 July 2024 shows two deaths in Tipperary on its county map, page 7. That review period ends before the Council’s motion of 14 October 2024, but it is not a full-year 2024 count. The earlier release’s sixteen deaths cover all of calendar 2023. Comparing sixteen with two across these unequal periods does not measure a like-for-like annual fall, nor establish an effect of a motion debated later. Our question: what do figures for matching start and end dates show? It supplies later local context only, not an image of events in either statistical period. The bridge is not visible, and crash-time conditions cannot be established from this image.
