Annual scope: 2001-2025 complete annual values from mixed official sources; CSO ROA15 2001-2024 plus RSA 2025 provisional review. Map scope: 2016–2024. Dataset retrieved/updated: 2026-09-06T15:24:46Z.

Missing means no value was supplied; it is not zero. Provisional and conflict rows remain visibly labelled. The whole period is not described as complete.

Counts are independently computed: filtered collision points, persons killed, serious collisions, and persons seriously injured are separate measures.

• This is a factual statistical record. No finding of causation or responsibility is made here.
• Annual totals are persons killed, while map records are collisions; they must not be presented as interchangeable.
• The RSA map is based on An Garda Síochána collision information and excludes hospital serious-injury data because those records have no collision coordinates.
• RSA says 2022 onward collision information is provisional and that some records lack coordinates; null coordinates are preserved, never fabricated.
• Geographic counts are counts of mapped records, not population exposure or road-risk rates.
• Road-user values are aggregate per-collision fields copied from the RSA export; fatal and serious-injury counts are not person-level identities.
• 2024's official Tipperary killed count is 2 and is provisional; it is explicitly not treated as proof that the 25-year series is complete.
• The 2025 value is provisional RSA data from a visual county map on PDF page 13, with a 3pm 31 December 2025 cutoff; it is not a CSO value and is not a mapped incident layer.
• For each map record, road_users is casualty-class-specific: fatal collisions use the RSA Fatality fields and serious collisions use the RSA Seriously Injured fields. fatal_road_users and serious_road_users preserve both field families separately; they do not describe every road user involved.
• Private audit gap only: incoming research reported a 2012 N+S versus ROA15 discrepancy, but the underlying historical tables were not independently fetched or verified. No public conflict claim is made and the CSO value is unchanged.
